THE SOURCE – TUESDAY May 13, 2025 at St Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle
The YMT SOURCE is happening once again this May! Following Flame, we are especially looking forward to welcoming a new guest to The Source with a story of unstoppable faith. Ingrid Eduardo Szot (Inesz Music) is a language teacher, catechist, and Catholic singer-songwriter who moved to the UK from Martinique, West Indies, 7 years ago after meeting her husband at World Youth Day. Her “Urban Gospel” album is an eclectic mix of hip-hop and rap with Caribbean influence. Her lyrics share her testimony – finding faith difficult as a teenager and facing various trials and difficulties, learning through it all to put her trust in God. She has experience leading worship with youth in Northampton Diocese, as well as in Paris, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Romania as part of an international youth group she founded. We can’t wait to welcome Ingrid to H&N for The Source on Tuesday, May 13th at St Mary’s Newcastle. We will also welcome back our festival band for what promises to be a great evening of testimony, prayer, and praise (and free chips!). Doors open at 6.30 for a 7pm start.
It will be at St Mary’s Cathedral from 7 p.m. on November 14th, 2024, and again on May 13th, 2025! The event will welcome y9+ students and staff from different secondary schools around the diocese and young adults from universities such as Newcastle, Sunderland, and Durham, who will be encouraged to pray together through praise, worship, and adoration.
