Youth FunDay in England and Wales (Friday 24th)
As with previous years since lockdown, we are pleased to welcome schools and other groups to the World Youth FunDay LIVESTREAM on the Friday before (Friday 24th November). An interactive live-streamed day with prayer, special guests, activities, and faith in action for all ages. Last year, 15, 000 young people joined us from classrooms across England and Wales and we hope everyone will be back for World Youth Funday 2023! Youth Sunday Resources
In Lisbon this year, Pope Francis told 1.5 million young Catholics that “Jesus’ door is always open: Come and See!” This inspired the theme for World Youth Day celebrations in England and Wales for 2023. On a national scale, YMT has been heavily involved with World Youth Sunday resources for Primary and Secondary schools and parishes which are available here: WYD Website (worldyouthsunday.org) – we hope there’s something for everyone!

ADVENT RETREAT – EMMANUEL UNLOCKED!
This is an advent retreat being run at the youth village for anyone 18+. It’s a one night retreat from 5pm Friday December 8th – 3pm Saturday December 9th. There will be Praise and Worship being led by Ronan and Joanne Johnston
Rónán & Joanne Johnston were leaders of the Emmaus Community in Dublin for two decades, leading a new move in worship, spearheaded by their band of the same name. Some 14 albums, international tours and two books on worship later, they spend most of their time working as psychotherapists, while in their spare time, they continue to do workshop and teach on prayer and worship.
