Responding to the cry of the earth and the poor

This Saturday, the 18th of September, the Emmaus Village will be hosting the “Caring for our Common Home Conference, Responding to the cry of the earth and the poor” by the Diocesan Environmental Group. The event will include keynote addresses from Christine Allen, CAFOD Director and Emma Gardner, Project Lead for the Guardians of Creation Project.  The conference will also include presentation and feedback on the draft environmental policy, COP26 expectations and advocacy, workshops on sustainable living (buildings/energy, food, travel, plastic/waste) and a Mass for Creation presided over by Bishop Robert.  The event is being sponsored by Caritas and is free, but booking is essential.
